Great location, but too noisy

Location's super convenient, right in the nightlife hub. Staff were helpful, but the noise from bars and the surrounding area made it impossible to sleep. The room was clean, but the mattress was terrible, and I could hear everything from next door. The bar area was nice, though. Just not a place for peace and quiet after a long day.

I truly loved how close this place was to Pontefract's Valley Gardens, just a short stroll away, making it perfect for a relaxing afternoon walk, and the Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre was within a quick drive, great for picking up local goodies and enjoying the atmosphere.

my stay was a real letdown. the room had a flat screen tv, but the mattress was awful. despite the location being incredibly central, other aspects didn't quite match up to my expectations during this family holiday.

the owner was super friendly and made me feel at home. the location was great, really central n close to shops and places to eat. the room was clean and had the basics i needed. also, the breakfast was decent for what i paid. overall, it was a decent quick stay.

but the noise from outside was unbearable and the shower tray was cracked. also, there was no hot water in the basin taps

The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the town. I appreciated that the staff was helpful in directing me to nearby parking. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was quite outdated and could have used some cleaning. I had a few issues with the bathroom amenities which made my stay less enjoyable.
